P Q Fibreglassing has fitted a new Dryseal roof to a design house on Percy Street, Dublin. The GRP fibreglass roof was specified by Meltedsnow, an extremely reputable local Architects Practice. The project on Percy Street covered the main house roof and lower level off-shoots and includes detailing around a large architectural rooflight.
The clean lines and neat detailing that are synonymous with P Q Fibreglassing, give the domestic building a modern finish to reflect the feel of the design house.
Phil Boardman of PQ Fibreglassing has been carrying out GRP installations for Jim Lawler MRIAI, the founder of Meltedsnow Architects (MSA), since 2009. Since setting up MSA, Jim has designed and supervised several residential projects with a focus on contemporary, sustainable design.
Many of MSA’s projects have been featured in House & Home Magazine, The Irish Times Weekend Magazine, Sunday Times Home Supplement and Construct Ireland amongst others. In October 2009, one of MSA’s projects was featured on ‘About The House’ on RTE 1.
In March 2010, MSA was awarded the prestigious ‘Green Residential Building Award’ for an extension to a house in Dublin 8.
Phil’s work for MSA has included many nominated projects in and around Dublin and even stretches to Jim’s sister’s house.
